"Ganeshay Namo Namah"
Vastu Shastra and Importance:
Vastu Shastra is the ancient Indian science of building a house, building or temple, which can be considered as the ancient form of science architecture of modern times. The things which are used in our daily life, how to keep those things is also Vastu. Vastu has been formed from the word Vastu. The word 'Vastu' itself means 'to dwell'; That is, the land on which a man resides by doing the initial industry of house, monastery, temple, etc., is called 'Vastu'.
In South India, the series of Vastu Shilp has been built according to Mayan or Maya or Mayasur. Mandodari was the daughter of Maydanav. Maya is a famous demon. He was a great architect, astrologer and technical engineer, but a demon by birth.
In North India, the series of Vastu crafts have been built according to Vishwakarma ji. Lord Vishwakarma is believed to have created this universe along with Lord Brahma.
In this way it is clear that all the living beings born on earth need a place of residence. All living beings build houses according to their relative needs. The sense of overall happiness and security of life is embedded in this construction. No creature wants to lead an insecure life. The feeling of every living being at the time of house-building is that he should never face any trouble due to adverse conditions caused by external enemies and natural environment. A similar idea has been expressed by the Suktakar for the welfare of the householder in the third kanda of Atharvaveda.
It is known to all that nature has given every living being the ability and skill to make its own suitable habitat, that's why by being bound by these natural rules, by estimating its happiness and sorrow, the living being searches for a safe place in a new fear-free environment. Keeps doing In all small and big creatures, the tendency to build a house to live their lives is inherited from generation to generation, but humans, being conscious creatures, are always ready to give innovative forms to the natural house-building nature and tendency. lives. The meaning is that no living organism can change the natural structure of house building with time, but the nature of science keeps on changing.
You must have seen the nests of birds. Normally no change will be seen from the nests made years ago to the nests made today.
Man is a storehouse of knowledge and power, who by estimating his happiness-sorrow, fair and unfair, high and low, looks into the past and worries about the future while walking in the present. This concern leads a man towards building a house full of refinement and happiness-prosperity etc. for his stability, and then the important resolution of house-building is taken. Even if this resolve to build is not immediately reflected externally, yet in some corner of the inner mind, there is certainly a curiosity to know where, how and in what way we should build so that our resolution is fulfilled. Then 'Vaastu Shastra' appears as a guide.
Vastu Shilpi Vishwakarmaji has also said-
Vastu Shastram Pravkshyami Lokanam Hitkamyaya.
Meaning :
That Vastu Shastra has been propounded only with the desire of public welfare.
"Streeputradik Bhog Saukhya Jananam Dharmarthakampradam" ॥
′′ Jantunamayanam Sukhshadhatmidam Sheetambu Dharmapaham ′′ ॥
Home-building is not only done by humans for themselves, but construction of a protective residence and building is also required for all the other creatures who provide support in their home. Along with this, the construction works of wells, ponds, temples, dharamshalas etc., which come in public use with the spirit of personal 'beneficial' in daily life, are also very important, and all these works come under Vastu Shastra.
It is very important to pay attention to the geographical conditions especially in house construction. According to the directions, the condition and texture of the house has a special effect on the owner of the house.
In Atharvaveda's Kanda-3 Sukta-12, the subject of house construction has been described. The place for the house should also be suitable, pleasant and healthy. As stated-
′′ Ksheme tisthati ghritamukshmana.
The meaning is that safe, peaceful, pleasant, healthy and fearless - such a place should be for home.
The above mentioned thoughts must have awakened the feeling in your mind that if we build a house according to the rules of Vastu Shastra, will we never face any problem? The truth is that the happiness-sorrow caused by destiny and the happiness-sorrow caused by Vastu or Kuvastu are two different subjects. The feeling of sorrow and defeat is the same for those whose houses have been built according to Vastu principles. The suffering caused by Kuvastu definitely goes away by the construction done according to Vastu Shastra, but the suffering caused by luck (which is also known as destiny, fate) will have to be overcome or suffered according to the cycle of birth horoscope. Wherever the destiny is enjoyed, whatever it may be, the solution should also be done accordingly.
"अवश्यमेव भोक्तव्यं क्रतं कर्म शुभाषुभम्".
If the destiny is good, then the bad luck also becomes favourable, and if the destiny is not good, then the good luck also starts getting reflected in the form of adversity.
Discussion summary is that a man should never do the construction work of the house in an unlimited manner on his own behalf. Always respecting Vastu Shastra, it is necessary to fulfill the utmost duty to remove the defects caused by bad architecture. This message of Gita is worth remembering for spiritual peace. as-
′′ Karmanyevadhikaraste Ma Fleshu Kadachan.
The meaning is that man has only the right to act. He should not desire the fruit; That is, a man should not become the object of the result of his actions, nor should he become a victim of attachment for not performing actions.
Therefore, the knowledge of duty and non-duty work is possible only from the scriptures. That's why due to the rendering of scripture-based work, a person often leads a happy life.
Thank you,
